I have always wanted to ask that special person in my life the big question on the steps of the Parthenon, located in West End area. I used to live in a 1 bedroom apartment next door to it, so this has been on my mind for awhile. I got with a friend of mine and we made up a story that Shepard Fairey did a art piece on the walls of the parthenon. For those of you who don't know who this artist is, he has been one of my favorites and he tends to put up art on the streets in random places at random times. His work always has a message and she knows who he is and that I am fond of his work. He would ever deface something with that much history, but it sure made for a good story.

I booked us a night at the Melting Pot afterwards. I got a rather nice commission check, so she knew about our reservations. We were running a little behind schedule, but I insisted that we had to stop by there and take photograph before it is removed before dinner. Centennial Park was very crowded. I remember it was hard to find a place to park and I thought I was going to expolde. After a few minutes, we managed to find a place to park. We got out and I found the perfect quite spot and the sun was just setting, so it looked awesome. I asked her to walk up on the first step and I got down on one knee, pulled out the ring that was in my pocket, opened the box and said" There is no Shepard Fairey art, I love you and I want to be with you. Will you marry me?" She said yes after a few tears and then to my surprise there were a group of women apparently watching us who were crying and clapping at the same time! We then got into the car and had wonderful eveningl at The Melting Pot.

The rest is history....
