Popshelf is owned by Dollar General and their mission is to make shopping a fun and stress-free experience. Most items are priced at $5 or less, and the store also offers a selection of higher-priced items. Popshelf's estimated annual revenue is currently $17.9M per year. As of today there are 231 stores.

Project Details

For this project, my goal was create a unique, modern looking, mobile first design strategy for a seamless shopping experience online. Our team had to have this website live and ready by the grand opening for the store. I needed to make the website look like a totally different brand than the typical Dollar General visual style. The request was to make it look fun, easy to use, and showcase the wide array of products they sell. It was key that I was in constantly in touch with marketing, merchandising and business stakeholders along the way of each step in the design process.
